In responding to an essay question asking to describe what Delta Tau Delta means to him and his favorite moments, John stated:
My favorite moments in Delt have included emotional conversations that have foreshadowed deep relationships with my brothers. My first complex conversation with a brother occurred before I pledged. We elaborated on how we want to be the best men we can be. We want to be there for our mothers, wives, children, etc. We want to be the best we can be for each other’s families.”
