Beta Tau Delts participate annually in the local JDRF 1Walk to combat Type 1 diabetes. Delta Tau Delta developed a philanthropic partnership with JDRF in 2012 and has raised nearly $2 million since.

Strengthening Community is Essential to Our Vitality

Strengthening Community is part of Delta Tau Delta’s value system. It is a part of our culture. We understand that a stronger community benefits everyone. Beta Tau Delts have spent countless hours and raised an incredible amount of money through various events in order to strengthen Lincoln.

Beta Tau Delts have a long history of helping raise money and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes with JDRF, Delta Tau Delta’s national philanthropic partnership. To date over $30,000 has been raised for the local JDRF chapter.

Delts support our military veterans at the Nebraska Veteran’s Hospital, raise funds for the March of Dimes, and participate in student mentoring at Clinton Elementary School. A Beta Tau Delt even saved a life after participating in a bone marrow drive in memory of a Beta Tau Delt who passed away from a rare form of blood cancer.
