Parental Involvement

College is a special time in the life of a young man. It is important that the love and support he has received for the first 18 years of his life continues through this period. We view our parents as an extension of our Delt Family. We encourage you to be involved in your son’s experiences.

We host a variety of family-oriented events throughout the year. Mom’s Days, Father’s Days, and Parents’ Weekend are scheduled at various times. These events usually consist of dinners, activities, ceremony performances, and other ways to interact.

As always, we encourage you to visit your son at the Delt Shelter when it is convenient to catch up with your son and his friends.

We are always appreciative of our parent’s donations to the chapter and shelter. A Parents’ Club is established to provide the chapter with things like Sunday night dinners, Dead Week/Finals Week cookies and snacks or to help plan and prepare for the various parent weekends. If you would like more information about the Parents’ Club, talk to your son.
