Delta Tau Delta Recruitment
Why Delta Tau Delta?
Delta Tau Delta is a values-based organization. We develop in members a commitment to a life of excellence. Through our foundational principles of Truth, Courage, Faith, and Power, we strive for brothers to have integrity, are committed to lifelong learning, and promise to strengthen their community. The friendships and bonds created during your time in the fraternity will help you achieve a life of excellence.
More than 125 years of success
Delta Tau Delta has been in continuous existence at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since 1894. Nearly 2500 young men have been initiated into the Beta Tau Chapter. Members from our chapter have gone on to become successful business leaders, community leaders, State Senators, and Governors.
A great house and support system
The Delt house is located on Greek row and is centrally located on campus. As University Approved Housing, we have a House Mother that resides in the Shelter, a chef, an alumnus Chapter Advisor, a group of alumni who serve on the Housing Corporation, and an International Office of staff to support us.
Recruitment Process
Delta Tau Delta participates in year-round recruitment, which means we are willing to connect with you and learn about our mutual values and interests at any point during the year. We will connect with you through meals, sporting activities, and recruitment events. Our busiest recruiting period is during the Summer. You can learn more about our Summer recruitment events by clicking the Summer Recruitment button below.
Once we have both gotten to know each other and our recruitment team has determined that you are eligible for membership, our chapter will vote to determine whether we will offer you a bid. This is our formal invitation to become a new member of Delta Tau Delta.
If you are interested in committing to a life of excellence and seeking friendships that will last a lifetime, we encourage you to complete our Student Recruitment Application. A member of our recruitment team will reach out to you.
If you are an alumnus, family, or friend and would like to recommend a possible candidate for membership, please complete our Recruitment Referral Form. We will contact your referral and learn more about him.
